নারীদের মাঝে যথাযথ শিক্ষার আলো ছড়িয়ে দেওয়ার জন্য তাদের অধিকার সচেতন ও আত্ম প্রত্যয়ী করার প্রত্যয় নিয়ে কিশোরগঞ্জ জেলার গণ্যমান্য ব্যক্তিবর্গের আন্তরিক প্রচেষ্ঠায় ১৯৬৯ সালের ৮ সেপ্টেম্বর প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয় কিশোরগঞ্জ মহিলা কলেজ। এই কলেজটি প্রতিষ্ঠিত হওয়ার পর নির্ধারিত কোন স্থান না থাকায় প্রথম অস্থায়ী কার্যক্রম শুরু হয় আদর্শ শিশু বিদ্যাল
